William Lallish (Bill) served in the United States Air Force for 24 dedicated years. He began his career at Lackland AFB, Texas with basic training and Shepherd AFB, Texas, for Phase I of his training as a Cardiopulmonary Laboratory Technician. His next 20 years were spent at Scott AFB, Illinois (near his hometown of Greenville) where he received hands on training to become a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) as well as a Certified Pulmonary Function Therapist (CPFT).

He found a passion early on for teaching airmen as well as patients, how to improve lung health. He partnered with the American Lung Association of Illinois to help young children with asthma education in a fun learning environment.

In 2006 Bill transferred to Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. He became the Superintendent of the Medicine Flight. Bill deployed during his career to various locations to provide respiratory care with the USAF’s Critical Care Air Transport Teams.

In 2010 Bill retired from the USAF and made Anchorage his permanent home. He worked at PAMC’s as their CPFT until May of 2017, when he joined Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Center. Bill enjoys bowling, fishing, and hunting, along with spending time with his wife Connie, 5 children & 7 grandchildren.
