On June 9th, we went live with a new software system. As is always the case with big changes, some things worked out as planned; and most things did not!
One of the hiccups we’ve run into is managing existing patient balances. Patient balances for previous visits did not transfer to the new system. We must either manually move all of those balances, or do our billing in two separate software systems.
Neither option is perfect, however, every time we manually enter data, we introduce opportunity for error.
To reduce the opportunity for billing errors on your account, we have chosen to wrap up the patient balances in the old system, using the old system.
What this means for you:
- If you were seen in our office before AND on/after June 9, 2025, you will likely receive two sets of statements from us. Both are correct; they are for different dates of service.
How to pay:
- ALL online payments will be done through the patient portal.
- Instructions for making payments are found here.
- If you need us to re-send an access link to your patient portal, please email: Solutions@AllergyAlaska.com.
